Ovronnaz is a Swiss ski and spa resort situated at the foot of Muveran mountain range. Tourists visiting this alpine resort engage in wide range of activities including skiing, hiking, and bathing in one of the most renown thermal spa facilities in the Alps.
Ovronnaz chamber of tourism asked us to build a seasonal structure that could accommodate a wide variety of events organized throughout 2013 winter season, including TailleTaNeige Tour, Fluoday, and Noss des Neiges festival, and to function as a ski-bar in between of those.
This is exactly why our clients choose Freedome 300 as a seasonal structure for Ovronnaz. It has 19 meters in diameter, offers 283m2 of floor space, and accommodates 445 standing people. It is the most versatile, and as a result the most popular structure we have in offer. It is not a coincidence that Inuit people build their snow houses in shape of hemispherical domes. Dome is one of the most efficient structures in cold climate. Heat distribution and isolation is far superior to any kind cubic structure.
Because event structure in Ovronnaz features transparent front, there was no need to illuminate its interior during the daytime, making it even more efficient, and inviting.
