LifeBall - The most opulent charity event in the world
Vienna, Austria /
May 2015
The Life Ball takes place annually inside and in front of the Vienna City Hall, and is one of the biggest charity events in the world. It continues tradition of the Viennese ball culture with extravagance and glamour to help people that affected by HIV and AIDS.
Breaking conventions was the main theme of the event that took place on May 16th 2015, and there is nothing more unconventional than 14 meter glass dome covered with gold leaves and elevated above the main stage of the event.
As convincing as it looked, Freedome 150 was actually covered by transparent PVC membrane, while golden leaves were really made of adhesive vinyl. It did not stop visitors of LifeBall from believing that this glamorous centrepiece of the celebration was made of glass and gold. This kind of illusion would not be achievable without the high quality fit and finish, that Freedomes is known for.
2015 LifeBall in Vienna did not only gather attention of celebrities like J. Blige, Conchita Wurst, Dita Von Teese, Carmen Electra, Ellen von Unwerth, Kelly Osbourne, Paula Abdul and fashion legend Jean Paul Gaultier, but most importantly, it raised 2.8 million Euro for research of HIV and AIDS.
We are extremely happy for a chance to take part in this amazing event and we can not wait for the next LifeBall.
